WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
Evidence-Based PT for Competition Dancers
Breaking Down the Evidence: An overview of the research evidence available pertaining to competition dancing injuries and timeline of healing/rehabilitation.
Lisa is a physical therapist and former dancer. She participated in a variety of dance styles growing up but found a specific passion for Ballet as a member of a local performance company. While in high school and college, Lisa taught dance in both performance and competition based studios. Lisa received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Iowa and as a part of her education she was able to work with The Joffrey Ballet and dancers from several prominent companies in the Chicagoland area. These experiences allowed Lisa to further her passion for working with dancers and learn how to apply the evidence and research into practice to help keep dancers safe, healthy, and performing optimally.

LEARN TO REHAB DANCERS
THIS IS NOT LIKE ANY OTHER EVENT!
Unlike other PT courses, this isn’t one big CEU-a-thon.
You won’t be confused by a parade of random speakers trying to teach you how to market to physicians or tell you how their clinical skills are the best in the world. (Let’s face it, that just leaves you with more questions than when you arrived, right?)
We've designed this 2 hour event to be a cohesive JOURNEY.
Every speaker that you’ll listen to has been strategically picked by the team (and placed in a strategic order) because they have MASTERED a specific piece of what it takes to accelerate your career.
We'll be taking you on the END-TO-END journey from:
“Here’s How To Provide Evidence-Based Treatment for Competition Dancers”
“Here’s How to Get Competition Dancers to Choose Your Physical Therapy Practice For Recovery/Injury Prevention”
“Here’s ALL Of The Scaling Exercises And Progressions You’ll Need To Properly Rehab a Competition Dancer”
It’s a process.
Which means, you’ll need to be in EACH session (notebook in hand), so you don’t miss any of the key steps along the path.
