SPEAKER BIO

Graduated from Ithaca College, PT class of '07 and resides in NYC. He works at Windsor PT in Brooklyn, NYC currently doing telehealth. In the recent past he worked as consultant and head of content for Reactiv (VR Rehab). He previously was faculty at TOURO College Post Professional DPT program and Clinical Director of Residency Education in the Orthopedic Residency Program. He has been a video producer for the past 8 years and worked for Craig William Films and BRIC TV as producer, host, and media instructor. He was recently the Chair of the PR/Marketing Committee for the Academy of Orthopedic Physical Therapy. At APTA NY he served as legislative liaison, chair of the minority affairs committee, and member of the programming committee. Over the last 4 years he has assisted components in starting DEI committees. 

As a licensed, experienced physical therapist, Adrian Miranda struggled to educate his patients beyond the basic handout. He craved more innovative and entertaining solutions to explain the health and rehab problems his patients face and founded Gross Anatomy Studios which creates video and VR physical therapy content based in Washington Heights, NYC. He is also the writer and creator of a sketch comedy TV series pilot that he developed with Open Gate Entertainment called Gross Anatomy, currently in the shopping phase. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. In his free time he enjoys crossfit, swing dancing, playing guitar, and karaoke.
